Like us, Tracy Mehan of the American Spectator is fed up with
the Republicans' post-election finger-pointing. In his op-ed "Social
Conservative as Scapegoats," he lashes out at the GOP's centrists for
blaming November 4 on "the solid and most loyal" wing of the Reaganite
coalition. To those of us in the pro-family movement, the
Establishment's diatribe is a familiar one. When the GOP succeeds
because of social conservatives, our importance is ignored. When the
party fails for overlooking us, values voters are somehow to
blame. With the exception of Gov. Sarah Palin and some hollow overtures
by the Democratic Party, the 20 percent of voters who cited "moral
values" as their first or second priority in this election had no real
horse in this race. Maybe that explains why believers were less active
in this election cycle. More than four million Americans who go to
church more than once a week and voted in 2004 stayed home on November
4. Those voters would have made up half the difference between McCain
and Obama. As the members of the Republican party jockey for position in
this brave new Congress and sort out their internal leadership, a
commitment to life and marriage is non-negotiable. Without it, the
prospects of a Republican revival are bleak. As Karl Rove rightly points
out, "These values are often more popular than the GOP itself."

The Truth About Obama's Socialist Wealth Redistribution:
Under
Obama’s “SPREAD T HE WEALTH AROUND” plan, the Rich will remain rich and
the poor will remain poor. Higher taxes will not hurt the rich nor help
the poor. The rich can afford paying higher taxes. The government will
not raise the poor out of poverty; rather will ensure that they stay in
poverty indefinitely. The Middle Class who cannot easily absorb a
higher cost of living WILL carry the burden with higher taxes, higher
prices, more job losses, and WILL GET CRUSHED.
The hope of carrying the poor out of poverty through welfare reform will
be set back another 25 years as more will become dependent on the
government for sustenance.
Remember the folks in New Orleans whose only reaction to a major
hurricane coming toward their city was to go on the roofs and yell "when
is the government going to help me?"
I feel sorry for the poor blacks that are voting for Obama for Change We
Need thinking that Obama is going to move them to Beverly Hills. Not
quite folks. Obama and his rich elite friends will be partying in
their mansions while you wallow in poverty with less hope than ever to lift
yourself out. Sure you'll get a slight raise in your welfare checks,
but that will not raise you out of poverty. The truth is that raise
will be just enough to KEEP YOU IN POVERTY dependent on the government,
and therefore a LIFELONG DEMOCRAT. Obama will only make his wealthy
elite liberal friends more comfortable and more in control of all of our
lives.
And poor folks,
wait till Obama presses his GLOBAL WARMING agenda.
You know how we will reduce green house gases? Raise the price of energy
to force YOU to use less. His elite friends will not
cut back - they can afford higher prices,
but they know that YOU AND I CANNOT AFFORD IT and WE will be FORCED TO
USE LESS ENERGY. They know that they can break us with higher prices
until we say no more... I can't afford to drive... I can't afford to
heat my house.... I can't afford to keep my lights on. Al Gore does not use less
energy; he just
pays someone to grow trees to make himself feel good. Since announcing that the
sky is falling, Gore has increased his energy consumption.
The poor and middle
class will take the brunt of the misery for that fiasco too in higher
gas prices, electric bills, gas bills, and higher food prices.
Save the planet?
No way! Obama will not tell you that man cannot start nor stop climate
change. Scientists may not agree if man is causing global warming, but scientists do
agree that all of the plans to slow green house gases will have nearly
no affect on climate, melting, or sea levels.
Obama will tell you that we MUST SACRIFICE to SAVE THE PLANET, but Obama and his Elite
Friends will not sacrifice. His Wealthy Elite
friends will not drive less or fly less in private jets. They WILL
encourage Obama to raise the price of their fuel... not to stop them
from driving or flying, but to stop YOU from driving. That is how the elites will
cut greenhouse gases... making it so that YOU use less energy by making
it cost prohibitive to do so. So
YOU WILL GET POORER and WILL NOT SAVE THE PLANET!
Your drive to work will cost you dearly and it will be like a pay cut or
a tax hike. Is this the CHANGE you really want?

slow down the process of global warming,

superficial overall benefit.
Defenders of the Kyoto Protocol argue, however,
that while the
initial greenhouse gas cuts may have little effect, they set the
political precedent for bigger (and more effective) cuts in the future.
They also advocate commitment to the
precautionary principle. Critics point out that additional higher
curbs on carbon emission are likely to cause
significantly higher increase in cost, making such defense moot.
Moreover, the precautionary principle could apply to any political,
social, economic or environmental consequence, which
might have equally devastating effect in terms of
poverty and environment, making the precautionary argument
irrelevant.”
Even the Global Warming Scientists agree that all of this will have
no effect on global temperatures and sea levels. All of this is
just a first step…they know to impact the weather, we would have to kill
off half of the population (breathing causes global warming, babies
cause global warming, eating meat causes global warming…), completely
stop ALL man caused CO2 gases (Remember breathing puts CO2 into the
atmosphere). MAN CANNOT START OR STOP CLIMATE
CHANGE!
